What to do with your pumpkins

For those of you who still have your pumpkins sitting on your porch and are trying to figure out what to do with them, instead of chucking them in the dumpster (boring...), we recommend taking them out back and shooting them! Andrew's idea was to use a sharpie and draw fat rabbits and turkeys. We unloaded quite a few rounds on them with his 22 rifle. I usually don't join Andrew for target shooting, but this sounded awesome and it was.

That was such a great idea, and the pictures make it look like so much fun! Man, I'm bummed we couldn't make it! Next time...

Brian's SO going to wish we did this when he sees those pictures. Too bad I'm against him owning a hand gun (for protection...) :/ and he's not a hunter.

Way to maximize on cost of a pumpkin! I love it! There's a tradition in Delaware called "Chunkin Pumpkin," which takes place the day after Halloween each year. Everyone brings their pumkins and they launch them using a giant catepult only to see them come smashing (chunkin) down on the ground. Similar thrills!

What a wonderful, fun, and redneckish pumpkin activity!

That's a lot better than what happened to ours...we had squirrels roll the little ones down the stairs and steal them, and then come back and just dig into the big one and make a huge mess on our front porch, shooting them would have been much more fun!
Hey are you guys going to be in town for Thanksgiving? We're coming to Utah for about a week, we'd love to get together!

This sounded like a way fun idea. Too bad we couldn't make it. Sometime we will still have to go out shooting Andrew. Maybe next year we could combine your and elise's happenings and maybe get a few squirrels too!:)(Kristen laughed hysterically). Then I had to show Kristen the picture of Rach with her belly a couple of times. She says "Rach's loaf looks like it's rising."
